Season's greetings to all. I've done my yearly maintenance and now running pgv version 4.2.3. Unfortunately, not any time to do any genealogy updating.

I moved this site to another hosting company about 10 months ago after my previous hoster went "out of business" a week after I pre-paid a full year of hosting. I never did get any refund on a broken promise. In the meantime I was too busy and never got around to making fleth.org work properly. Rather embarrased, I have dedicated this weekend to "put it right" with the latest phpGedView, version 4.2.0.

On March 8th I received a notice that Koreru, my web hoster, was going out of business. This after making a year in advance hosting payment on Febuary 22nd. They say they will refund my money, but I doubt it. It is easier to just keep my money and disappear forever. I've got new hosting now with a company that has been doing it for 15 years. Now I hope my hosting problems are finally behind me.

I have just patched the PhpGedView to version 4.0.2 to fix some security issues.
19 May 2007 - 3:09:42am
On May 17th 2007 our hosting company\'s server running our pages suffered catastrophic disk failure and our site went down. I have restored our site from a full system backup done on December 12th 2006.
New User Announcement
26 October 2006 - 9:21:47am
I\'d like to give a warm welcome to our newest site member, Linda T. It\'s always nice to have more family members involved in this project.
21 August 2006 - 10:32:30pm
I am now running the latest stable version of phpGedView, version 4.0.1.

On August 7th, the Super Nu hosting server was hacked and all home pages were violated with a gross anti-war video. Their message was lost, while the destruction of hundereds of home pages will be remembered. I run several accounts and have spent the morning going through archive tar files rebuilding all my accounts. Unfortuneately, one account has a corrupt archive and I will probably need to re-install that site from scratch. The hacker touched every index file on the server and also removed every login script file as well as destroying every logo gif file. Just let me add; the punishment for destructive hacking should be cutting off fingers. I would prefer that all ten digits are removed, to eliminate further keyboard usage completely. Then they can learn to hack with their toes. (The toes can be cut off for second offenders.)
New Version released
28 June 2006 - 1:27:34pm
On June 26th, version 4.0 of phpGedView was released. So, it looks like I\'ll need to think about upgrading soon. Now the Fleth family site is also registered on phpGedView\'s registry, so we may finally see some more traffic and hopefully expand out our family tree
Welcome to Fleth Family Genealogy

I found this open source program while searching the web. After installing and tweaking it, a newer version (3.3.8) was released. Now it is all setup again. You must have a member account to view any of the personal information on this site.
I will approve any user registration request if you say \"I am a Fleth\" or \"I am related to the Fleth family\" in the comment box on the registration form.
If you would like to add content, we can discuss giving edit rights to this site or you can message me the content and I can add it.
Happy New Year to all, and a special birthday wish to Kevin, whose birthday is on January 4th.
